Kia Cee’d Concept
At this point, Kia should invest in their own person auto show. Along with Their Kia Soul concept and several other anticipated unveilings yet to be leaked for the upcoming Paris Motor Show - Kia has introduced their Cee’d concept hybrid car to the world.
Kia plans to bust out as many eco-friendly, compact and crossover vehicles in the next few years - taking advantage of enticing the youth and cash conscious fan base who have already taken a liking to the growing auto maker. Their Cee’d concept includes a new ISG (Idle Stop and Go) system, automatically switching the engine off when the car is idling, then on again when traffic moves. Kia claims fuel consumption and emissions are reduced 15% in city driving conditions.
The Kia Cee’d uses a 1.6-liter engine and 15 kW electric motor. Estimated MPG is just under 60, but this will be backed up soon, as Cee’d is being prepped to undergo “real world” tests throughout Europe.
