Kia Borrego Drops Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle
You don’t have to be a Japanese car maker to experiment with the latest in Green technology. Kia showed off their state of the art fuel cell electric vehicle, the Kia FCEV, at the 2008 Los Angeles Auto Show in the form of their Borrego SUV.
Looking more like the engine on board the Starship Enterprise the stacked fuel cell is said to have sub-zero starting capability, advanced fuel cell output and a new lithium-ion battery with better a charging cycle. This could be a great leap towards fuel cell electric car production via the Kia logo, putting this auto manufacturer at the forefront of the growing electric car market.
