The 2008 Kia Rondo compact multi-purpose vehicle adds a considerable amount of flare to the Kia lineup. Just imagine the convenience of an SUV with the fuel efficiency and handling of a sedan all wrapped into one valiant package. The 2008 Rondo comes in the LX and high performance EX trim levels.

The idiosyncratic bodywork of this vehicle holds a flexible space for the driver and passenger to occupy. Either five or seven occupants can fit inside, depending on if you choose to include the 50/50 split fold-flat third row seats. The second and third rows of seats both fold flat and allow you to hold as much cargo as you need to. All trim levels have available characteristics such as an impressive audio system, power windows and door locks, cruise control, keyless entry, copious cargo compartments scattered amongst the dashboard and doors, orange illuminated instrumentation and further features. The EX models get even better Infinity® MP3 audio system, steering wheel based controls for various functions and optional heated leather seats. The list of standard and optional features carries on for quite a while.

To propel this car, Kia gave an option of two engines. Both the LX and EX trim can be equipped with a 2.4 liter four-cylinder engine or a 2.7-liter V6 that can generate 182 horsepower. The 2.4 liter teams with a four-speed automatic transmission and the V6 uses a five-speed automatic.

Kia made this vehicle as safe as it is convenient and powerful. Along with the normal frontal airbags, there are dual front seat-mounted side airbags and full-length side curtain airbags. To compliment the various airbags, the Rondo has four-wheel anti-lock brakes, an Electronic Stability System, a Tire-Pressure Monitoring System, side-impact door beams and more!

If you’re looking for a taste of something different but want guaranteed outstanding performance in all categories, it is recommended to check out the 2008 Kia Rondo.
