If you’re in search of a sedan with a little bit of everything at an affordable price, then you have found it in the 2008 Kia Optima. This mid-size comes with a choice of two engines, a variety of interior accessories from which to choose, ample space and a whole lot more. The Optima comes in either the LX or the higher-up EX trim levels.

The 2008 Optima features a traditional skeleton that houses a spacious cockpit. The five-person occupancy is made possible with the split-folding rear bench seat. The standard features that accompany this seating configuration include air conditioning, various power functions and a six-speaker CD stereo system. If you opt for the EX trim level you will be graced with automatic climate control, an upgraded audio system, optional leather seats and a rear-window manual sunshade. The driver and passengers’ comfort is very important.

The safety of the Optima occupants is also essential. The side airbags and side curtain airbags compliment the dual front advanced airbags; all of these are standard. Along with the plethora of airbags, the Optima is equipped with a Tire-Pressure Monitoring System, Electronic Stability Control, a Traction Control System, 4-wheel disc brakes and active front head restraints.

Kia packs the vehicle with safety features to ensure the driver and passenger security while the Optima speeds along with its 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. Is this is still not enough power for you an optional 2.7-liter V6 is also available. The two engines team with either a five-speed manual or a five-speed automatic transmission.

The 2008 Optima manages to provide a sedan that not only performs for the driver but on that also provides.
